General description of the position

<!--[if !supportNestedAnchors]--><!--[endif]-->You will have to implement high quality of EMERGENCY RESPONSE MECHANISM project, in conformity with ECHO proposal and ERM partners Common Rational, overarching strategy and the standards set internationally, by ACF and by national policies and ERM partners.


Main responsabilities

In particular, you'll have to

- Contribute to deliberations on strategy and the positioning of the ERM Department 

- Identify needs and contribute to project elaboration

- Set up, implement and report on ERM projects

- Contribute to the quality, accountability and impact measurement process of his/her program

- Participate in the coordination, representation and partnerships of ACF in his/her area of intervention   


Do you fit the requested profile ?

To apply, you need to have at least two years of working experience in emergency context and response

( with Strong previous experience in needs assessment , as well as in Emergency projects (NFI and UCT distribution) , emergency supply schemes (purchase, distribution...) and experience in sensitive projects, problem-solving with beneficiaries...

Previous experience in rapid response projects will be a key asset 

 Previous experience in unstable and volatile environment (conflict / post conflict country) , compulsory.

You'll also have very good organizational and planning skills , as well as strong communication skills, patient and diplomatic,  good negotiation skills , 

You are a good team management and supervision skills, leadership, diplomatic , able  to work in harsh environments  Rigor, patience, autonomy and capacity of adaptation are necessary skills.

You know the international minimum standards (SPHERE…),  humanitarian actors including institutional  as well as donors humanitarian environment challenges (Policies, UN humanitarian reform, stakeholders…) and  have  previous experience in project cycle management 


Languages: Fluent in English (written, spoken, read).

Size of the mission : 370 national Staff around 14 expatriate, 3 base 

Projects (WASH, NUT, MHCP,FSL, ERM)
