General description of the position

Based in Mosul, you will support ACF projects in Ninewa governorate : Nutrition and MHCP in IDP camps; WASH, FSL and MHCP off-camp. 

Main responsabilities

Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, you will be in charge of setting up the Financial, accounting and Human Resources policies, procedures for the base. You will also ensure sound accounting, financial and Human Resources management of the base according to the procedures defined for the base and within the ACF financial and human resources management framework, for an optimum support for the programmes.

  • Provide accounting services for the base
  • Managing cash
  • Leading financial management of the base
  • Provide Human Resources management
  • Manage the Finance & Human Resources team 
  • Administrative management of expatriate  

Do you fit the requested profile ?

You hold a post-graduate diploma in Finance. You have successful experience in humanitarian sector as finance or admin manager with complex budget arrangement. You hold a strong financial background, knowledge and understanding of donor requirements. You are recognized for your autonomy, your organizational and multitasking skills. You can demonstrate a high capacity of work and are a challenges-seeker with high degree of flexibility. You have the ability to deal with two different legislation and labor laws at the same time (Iraqi and Kurdish) and to communicate accurately to the different teams. Fluency in English is mandatory, Arabic or Kurdish is a plus

Specific conditions / Salary

Salaried - Gross monthly salary ranging from €1600 to €1975

Food and hygiene expenses, per diem, transportation costs, collective accommodation and medical insurance

25 days of annual paid leaves and 20 days of rest and recuperation (R&R) per year

Work context

Based in Mosul with restricted living conditions, with regular weekend breaks in Erbil with normal living conditions.
