General description of the position

Under the supervision of Rakhine Field Coordinator, you will reinforce the capacity of the FSL Program Manager in implementing high quality activities, which are appropriate and comprehensive, in conformity with overarching strategy, and the standards set internationally, by ACF and by national policies


Main responsabilities

1. Provide technical support and guidance to the newly recruited FSL Program Manager and formulate detailed recommendations for the design and planning of the activities

2. Reinforce the capacity of the FSL PM in Program Cycle Management, quality, accountability and impact measurement process of his/her program

3. Develop and strengthen the linkages between the different technical components of the program

4. Contribute to the identification of needs, reporting on on-going projects and formulation of upcoming project proposals


Do you fit the requested profile ?

You hold a Master’s Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture or International Development, Political or Social Science, Economics or related field with a solid food security and livelihoods experience.

You have at least 3 years of experience in management of food security and livelihoods projects in an iNGO.

You have a successful experience in Behaviour Change and Barrier Analysis, in community participatory project cycle management, in cash-based interventions and/or in inclusive community-based DRR.

You have a good knowledge of the humanitarian architecture and transformative agenda and strong understanding of project cycle management; you are recognized for your ability to manage multi sectorial projects and to develop projects involving several technical components on a multi-location program.

You want to build capacity of your team by organizing trainings and workshop; you have a sensibility for coaching and mentoring. You are committed to gender equity and equality. Cultural sensitivity and experience working in conflict sensitive areas.

You are fluent in English (written & spoken)
