CIVIC SERVICE FAQs

There are ten spheres of action in which they can get involved and carry out assignments that serve the common good, including culture, emergency operations, solidarity and health.

You may work on your assignment over the weekend occasionally, as long as you agree to this two weeks in advance. You will receive hours or days in lieu if this occurs.
In any case, you may not work on your assignment for more than six consecutive days. You must also have at least eleven hours of rest time if your assignment days are consecutive.

Thanks to support from your tutor, you will become more independent and improve your skills.
This experience can help you to develop a clearer idea of your future plans while getting paid. The dedication you show will be looked upon favourably by recruiters; a Civic Service Placement is a good first experience to add to your CV.
