Our main work-study scheme pathways
Every year, we offer students at bachelor’s or master’s level apprenticeship or work-study contracts for a duration of 12–24 months. The assignments allocated cover a wide variety of fields.

How do I apply for a work-study scheme at Action contre la Faim?
Are you enrolled at an institution governed by French law? Our work-study recruitment campaigns begin in April each year, with a view to the students starting in September.

Where are the assignments carried out?
All of our work-study schemes are based in France: either at our headquarters in Montreuil, Île-de-France, or in our regional offices. We do not offer work-study schemes for our international programmes.

Advantages of a work-study scheme at Action contre la Faim
Your pay will be based on the legal minimum wage, adjusted according to your age and education level.
A 13th month will be paid on a pro rata basis each month.
You will have 21 rest days (‘reduction of working time’), calculated pro rata according to the time you are present at the organisation.
You will also have 25 days paid leave, calculated pro rata.
If you are an apprentice, you will have five extra days of leave to prepare for your exams.
Thanks to our remote working agreement, your work can be organised so that you carry out part of your tasks remotely while making sure you are present for activities that require in-person attendance at our offices.
Regular attendance at the offices is expected, depending on needs; this is to be agreed upon with your tutor.
In-person attendance will also be required for meetings and group events, so that you integrate well into the team.
You will also receive a fixed allowance in accordance with your remote working arrangements.

Action contre la Faim will pay 50% of your transport fees between your home and the offices, with a monthly reimbursement limit of €150.
You will receive a lunch allowance (Up lunch card) worth €8, 60% of which is covered by the association.
The association will pay 80% of your health, life and income protection insurance.
A €170 allocation for social and cultural activities and discounts on cinema tickets.
You will get to attend an induction seminar when you arrive at Action contre la Faim. In addition, you will undertake individual or group training, depending on your post.
You will also have access to an e-learning platform, which will help you to develop your skills at your own pace.
You will have a specific HR point of contact, who will be there for you throughout your time at Action contre la Faim, especially when it comes to your onboarding, professional aspirations and monitoring of your career at the association.
A disability representative, based in our offices, is available to answer any questions you may have confidentially and provide support if you have a disability or chronic illness.
