Action Against Hunger France’s Human Resources Department supports the management of approximately 350 employees at headquarters, 250 expatriates and nearly 4,000 national employees in our 23 country offices around the world.
These women and men are professionally committed to implementing our programs, in line with our values in the field and at headquarters.
At Headquarters
As a HR professional, you are involved in the management of human resources and the development and recognition of employees at different levels.

Administrative and Social Management
Within the Administration and Social Management service, you are in charge of the registration and administrative follow-up of the management of headquarters and field staff: administrative formalities, drafting and follow-up of employment contracts, amendments and agreements, leave follow-up, preparation and sending of variable pay elements, management of social relations.
Recruitment and Mobility
Within the Recruitment and Mobility service, you are in charge of compiling HR requirements, ensuring the consistency of the employment-skills framework and implementing actions to ensure the recruitment of employees, both for headquarters and for the field. As a key focal point for employees, you ensure their integration and the successful completion of their evaluations.
Training
Within the Training service, you manage the systems that enable the acquisition of new knowledge. You develop and implement the annual training plan, advise employees on training schemes and organize external or internal training for employees.
Travel
The travel office is responsible for preparing, organizing and monitoring the movements of employees and service providers. Plane and train tickets, visas and accommodation are purchased with a focus on optimizing the purchase of travel services and commercial negotiation.
Regional Human Resources
The Regional Human Resources service provides technical advice and support to Country Offices on the implementation and adaptation of the Action Against Hunger HR policy and on HR development: individual, social, administrative and disciplinary management, and collective management by providing reference frameworks and tools.
In the Field

Human Resources Head of Department
As the Human Resources Head of Department of a Country Office, you implement and support the HR policies driven by the Action Against Hunger strategy. You are also in charge of the administrative management and development aspects of the Country Office’s employees: payroll, recruitment, training, disciplinary procedures, social relations…
You are known for your good interpersonal skills, which enable you to work with external service providers and manage, in close collaboration with the Finance Coordinator, the financial aspects of the HR department.
As a manager, it is your responsibility to supervise the HR service and ensure the development of their skills.
