Join our teams

The IS and Infrastructure teams at Action Against Hunger are at the heart of its strategic projects for the coming years. Many projects to optimize the information systems have been launched in recent years.

For example, Action Against Hunger has been developing the LINK application over the past 3 years, which is a solution for managing its supply chain. Fully adapted to the specificities of logistics management in the context of humanitarian intervention, this innovative solution is already being used in the field by some 30 Country Offices and is continuing to be developed for other NGOs.

Information Systems

As an IS Manager you will discover Action Against Hunger’s information systems and provide technical support to users and ensure the maintenance, evolution and optimization of IS applications.

As a Project Manager or IS Project Manager, you are in charge of defining, managing and implementing IS projects to help improve the capacity and efficiency of programs. You will also be responsible for contributing to the optimization of information sharing and providing support and expertise to IS managers on procedures, rules and methods.

Depending on the different projects and applications to be implemented, you will join the Support Unit as a Developer and undertake the ongoing maintenance of these tools.

Infrastructure

The Infrastructure unit ensures the optimal functioning (IT, networks, telecommunications and energy) for all Action Against Hunger France sites (headquarters and 30 international Country Offices) and pilots technological developments.

Your mission within this unit will be to ensure the proper functioning and optimization of the hardware and applications used in the field as IT and Field Networks Advisor and of the telecommunications equipment and applications as Field Telecommunications Advisor.

On the networks and IT equipment section at headquarters in Paris, you will be in charge of ensuring the proper functioning, availability and security of the Action Against Hunger network as well as the installation and management of the computer hardware and software equipment and systems by ensuring their evolution, maintenance and support for the users.

Electrical safety is a particularly important issue for the organization and is part of a more general dynamic aimed at improving the technical infrastructure (ICT & Energy).

Since the end of 2017, Action Against Hunger has been involved in a 3-year electrical renovation campaign of its field infrastructure to help improve the capacity and efficiency of its programs.
